The company, in keeping with its mission statement, has
adopted a holistic approach to meeting the business
imperatives of the company, through a pro-active program
of Black Economic Empowerment (B.E.E.).
A feature of Compustaff ‘s holistic B.E.E. strategy is
that both internal and external aspects of empowerment
are pursued with equal vigour. The fact that Compustaff
is still in business after 25 years is an indication of
its ability to adapt to change. We have recently been
awarded an Empowerdex certificate.
Quality Service
Compustaff believes that quality and quality of service
are non-negotiable features of the company’s business
and to this end, the company is in the process of
ascertaining the feasibility of becoming ISO 9000
certified
Summary
In the early 1980’s Compustaff was one of the first
Recruitment Companies to leave the city centre and
relocate to the suburbs. In 2000, we joined and
whole-heartedly support the drive towards the
‘Renaissance of the Inner City”. We have bought and
moved into Compustaff House on the corner of Loveday and
Market Street.
Our move is not only geared towards Business expansion,
but also towards a definite social awareness. Since our
move we have established the largest Internet facility
in Central Johannesburg. This is located in our building
in Market Street on the second floor, and is open to the
public. In addition, we provide I.T. facilities to our
tenants, who are primarily, young PDI Professionals,
intent on starting their own business.
It is our aim to grow our Internet presence in the city,
with the objective of providing members of the public
with greater access to Information and Technology. Our
staff provide free on site assistance and training in
Internet usage.
We also support the Ekuhla Early Learning Centre that is
situated on the 6th floor of our building. We consider
this to be part of our Corporate Social Responsibility
program
During the last 27 years, Compustaff has seen many
changes in our Industry. We have been able to adapt our
company to the changing needs of our Country and our
Clients.
As a recognised Labour Broker by the Receiver of
Revenue, we are in a position to assist any potential
Clients with the current regulations pertaining to
Independent Contractors and Personnel Services
Companies.
